Every time I visit the boss, I am reminded why she is the boss. I don't think Gemma, okay maybe Gemma, has an idea that I have ties with the Boss. But I doubt Necodemius, Grolor or Taluun have any idea that Boss, is well my boss. Just like they probable do not know that Boss is better at what I am best. She stole the magic power gems from the people. Those gems are extremely powerful. It was not easy to get those from her.
Though Carmens daughter could be the boss one day. She has the skills and the talent. I don't know if she has the politic talents, like I do. Yeah I could be the Boss, but I have a higher calling. A better calling. I am a man with many businesses in Otari, just like Boss.
Boss took me in as a new comer to Otari. Should me the ropes of who we steal from, who we don't. I learned the trade very quickly. Stalking strangers to Otari. For months I was really good at stealing from random people, More often I would stalk weird people coming through the Otari. It was stalking the weird rabbit, that I met Gemma. Boss would realize that we needed to regroup and heal before continuing onward. Boss would of realized that I was past my limit.
Boss might of realized that I used the magic Shard to make a magic weapon. I should not of been about to make a magic weapon. If I realized I could make magic weapons I would of chosen a more powerful being. A better being. But yeah, I made a powerful gun.
Though L'Mate Eh. Is a very powerful weapon, though kind of single minded. Way to talkitive when you get it near any powerful source of Magic. Well specific sources of magic. Like any shrine of The Empty Death for example. The issue with it being takitive is that it only every says five words.

Thats why I named it L'Mate Eh. I been told that when people get shot with it, that they hear it as well. How have I been told that? I asked the people I shot. You don't know the people. They were well compensated for there time. I am not a Monster. I am just a man who knows the value of money. I make sure that i go to other towns. Manly the small towns in the Immerwoods.
I have to be careful though, the First Guard Eagle Garrison patrols and soldiers can get in the way of helping people earn a few extra gold. Selling me your grandparents bones can be very profitable for the people selling.
Grolor is forbidden from being undead, I do not want him to be undead. I also do not want Taluun as undead for others. He ... She .... Taluun was the only one who ever could notice me, but she is not prefect for that either. Carmen's daughter snuck past her like the wind past a ship with no sail. Gemma relieles to much on Magic ... No thats Grolor.
Grolor uses magic like I breath, it blows my mind. Even the good magic should be passed, but no he doesn't care about the chaos or the damage he does to himself, at Least Gemma is responsible. She might not be The Boss, but Gemma is a good boss. Though we were not prepared for the fight.
I was tapped out. I wanted out. I should of just left. The only one who would of known was maybe Taluun. But I am a good soldier. I told Gemma I had to leave, but she didn't listen. That Vampire guy almost killed me. My enemies need to try better, Though its due to the Vampire that I got my upgrade. A great upgrade.
I am now the one and only true chosen of the Empty Death. I am now Grendin the Mourningviel.
That name I did not give myself, It was given to me by the Empty Death. Shortly after I got my new powers, and before I told Gemma that Grolor was become an undead. Oh you should of seen the look and panic on her face. She did not like that. I think she want's Grolor to be Undead less than I do. Which in itself says a lot.
Trail and error is what I had to do to figure out what I could do to raise undead, but I had a lot of material to work with. That I did for serveral days, before I started putting more plans and actions into place. I wanted to introduce Gemma to my friend in Abasolm. I knew she would love the friend.
I miss Nicodemus, he would of seen the advantage of all the empty buildings. Maybe, that might be false, but he would of been a breath of fresh air. One can only take so much Grolor before they snap. Guns, Guns, Guns. The perfect answer to magic is to have guns. Magical Guns like L'Mate Eh is an even better solution.
Oh yes, I also talked to Wrin and The Boss after becoming the Mourningviel. The Boss first, I had to buy shards, and discuss magic defences againsts crazy people like Grolor.
