Grendin Ghoul Story Part 40.5

What? Oh we were not done talking? Hm? Okay where were we? Oh Yes night three.

So on Night three I was reintroduced to Kel's dog. It is a giant ass dire wolfhound. Very friendly dog, though I have to admit it wasn't tell I met Kayla a few more times before I remembered her name. Names of pets are something I did not remember easily. Heck I don't recall when Ironbone exactly married Urkhurt. I remember names of people I deal with daily well, its other peopel and dates I don't recall that well.

The Skeleton Gladiator played fetch with Kayla using his own bones. Which was rather risky, but there was more bones to use in that place if he had lost a bone permanently. It wasn't that big of a worry. You ever seen a man play fetch with his own body with a dog that is larger than him? I am glad that the main crypt room was so large that they could play fetch.

On Night Four, Kel asked me if I had any pets of my own. My family never had a pet, so I have never had a pet. Ironbone on the other hand had a monitor lizard named Beth. That thing was a mence. I loved it, it would drop down from the sealing and crush ya. It taught me my first lessons on stealth. The issue was, being Beth was probable bigger than me, have you ever had an animal fall ontop of you that is bigger than you are?

I didn't think so, its rather crushing to say the least. Anyways Beth was an indoor Lizard, and hmm? Oh how do I remember her name so easily? Well I grew up with her, from a hatchling to a full grown adult. When you are around something for that long, hanging out with Ironbone and paying with Beth. Makes the name kind of stick. We could use a pet around the Cathederal don't you think?

Oh your right it would distract from the work we do. We do a lot of good work. If you do not know the type of work we do I can't you. Not all of the work we do is topside. We do a lot of different things here. The Boss knows all of what we do. I know of all we do, but yeah if you don't know you don't know.

Kel is a good musicain, or just jaming the same album for several days gets songs stuck in your head take your pick.

Where were we? Night five, yes. The night I told Kel about my how I me the boss. Hmm? You don't know the answer? Well listen up.

It was in the first month that I was doing general labour, helping to build the town for the Dwarves Under the fish seller. We were getting dwarves who were staying with us instead of the hotels topside. Most of them where good people. Some of them were not good people. They bullied and mocked the Kobolds. I was angry at this, but I wanted to get revenge.

So I waited tell they were about to leave and I bumped into them. I figured they would notice there gold right away so I took there holy symbol. To some god I didn't know. I went to Dawnflower, but none of the shrines there matched the holy symbol I snagged. So thinking that I had done an amazing job of stealing this holy symbol to the point where no one knew about I went to sleep, and slept soundly.

I awoke with a start as I found myself in Boss's office. I was informed by Boss who she was, and that I got extremely lucky. Her people had already targeted the guy, I just beat them to the punch. I learnt that if it wasn't for Boss's people I would of been found out. Knowing that I stole from a powerful cleric and should of been dead was enough to scare me.

I got put with a trainer to learn the ins and outs of Boss's business. All the rules that we were to follow. To be clear I always follow the rules, and all jobs that are given to me, eventually get done. Some jobs take me longer to do then others, but they all get done.

I was singing again? Hmm oh well. Night Seven? Oh, okay night six. Got it.

Kel asked me a very important question. Would I mourn the death of Grolor. Had a very good laugh on that, I would not mourn Grolor if they died. I would make sure to burn the body, and make it as hard as possible for him to come back. The world would be a safer place if Grolor was dead.

I assured Kelekdu that if he died I would rush his body to the temple so that Kayle would not be alone. They do not deserve to be alone, and that would be rude to her. Pets need there people.

Gemma, I would probable try to bring back the normal way, and if that failed I would bring them back as undead. Gemma as an undead would be a last resort. I don't think she would like to be undead, and I don't want to force that on her, that would be rude. She is a very interesting person, I am unsure if she is an elf or dragon kin, or an elf dragon kin. Its a weird situation.

I realized that Karmen had died several days ago, while I was talking about what I would do for others who died. I had Sargent gather up Karmen. As much as he could, and put his remains in one of the sarcophagus. Needing to recharge I went to sleep.

Thats a good song, and unlike every other day where I raised mummy, and watched Sargent give the other undead training, Day seven was busier. The first thing I did was go over to the sarcophagus holding Karmen. Noticing there was parts missing Bones from the bone closet where added as filler. I than did a low level ritual to bring him back to the land of the living with his soul. I figured that if Gemma hadn't had Vandy resurrect him, this would work. After the ritual, it was clear that it had failed to get his soul, and this was just another animated mummy. Just one that looked like Karmen. It was sad.

Affter that, which took longer than I wanted for the result I got, half of my undead gathereed all the metal off the chests, and anything else of minor value such as the name plates on the sarcophaguses The other half had a similar job where they went around and tied this place up. I didn't want to leave it a mess. The handful of corpses I hadn't used where placed in sarcophaguses for example.

After everything was said done, and I was getting ready to sleep for the Seventh time down in the crypt. Grolor splashed in the water. I quickly and politely asked the .Seetangeist to remove Grolor from the crypt, before he saw that I had looted the place. Thankful I think that was successfully.

One more night, and in the morning I raised another zombie to get me to total I mentioned earlier. Eleven mummy's, One Sargent, One Gladiator Skeleton, Two Shadows, and a Seetangeist. I was finnally ready to leaeve the crypt and catch up with the world. But I will tell that another time. I have a meeting with Aller to get to now.
