Grendin's Ghoul Story Part 34b

So where we, youngsters? Ah yes. That is right the meeting with the town. At the time I thought it went well, Though Gemma did try to insist that us Undead where less beings, Needing a treaty of some kind. Though I was a bit distracted by Kelekdu was distracting me with what I came to learn at a later time was Grolor. Grolor tried to be smart, I am still at the top of my game thief. Tons of groups of people come to this city. The Dwarfs came to this city, and built a whole settlement under the town with out getting an argreement. Only those that are lesser or weaker need to go into an argeement and treaty. I don't think that Longsaddle or me are in lesser positions.

The mayor did take several notes. Though I was glad that Nicodemus wasn't there. I hadn't told the others about the bounty, due to respect for Gemma, though that probable wouldn't have stopped Yinyasmera from trying to get the bounty. I did highly respect her talent and operation. I guess that is why I did work for her guild for a while before Joining Gemma.

Things got interesting because as you know People tend to look after there own interests. That means that people did end up being betrayed. Now I am not going to tell you how that happend just yet, that would be bad storing telling.

After the meeting I had a chat with Clang. That is how we got the most secure, and well stocked library on the whole Isle of Krotos, no the whole of Golarion. The Dawnflower might be a better known library, but ours is much better stocked. Anything the Dawnflower has in its library, even the forbidden section, you can find in our library. That wasn't an easy feat mind you, hand copying all the forbidden texts, scrolls and books.

It started small by stealing all the books from Gauntlight, that was fun doing that. Than there was the deal with the book seller. I have never been the best for long term plans, I kind of pawned off the building of the temple to Dorefon.

Now the thing about Kelekdu is why he is a great guy, you can't really hang out with him, he will cause untold chaos and yet you take the rap for it. I kind of had this idea already in the back of my mind. Grolor the fool taught me this lesson by letting Kelekdu land himself in jail with a massive bounty on his head.

Too many people fear undead. Too many people think we are just all evil. I did kind of threaten to eat Grolor so that might be why he ... well I got some things to take of We will have to continue at a latter point of time.
