Grendin's Ghoul Story Part 35

So as you know I distrust and dislike magic ....

Yes I distrust magic.

What do you mean I trust magic?

Yes I have a magic weapon but that does ....

Yes I put someone's soul into a weapon to get an intelligent weapon, That doesn't mean ....

Yes I have put in multiple magical Defences for this citideal, that is different than

Yes ... us Undead are magically created beings ....

Okay okay. Fine. Fine. I do not like the wish spell. Fine, you happy? Yeah your happy. I told Gemma not to cast a wish, that a wish would be a dumb idea. She was an idiot and trusted that type of magic ripped open a hole in reality. People vanished. People came back It was wild. People fell out of the sky. I don't trust magic.

Okay I don't trust magic that breaks reality. Happy?

Sheesh, If I was hundred of years younger I would not put up with this back talk. When the sky opened something shot towards the Gauntlight, and the false followers of our glorious Empty Death. I tried my best to figure out what the bloodly hell fell down. I am glad to have had my helper. I could of dug after the thing that fell down, but I decided to go report back to Gemma.

At this time I didn't know it was her wish that caused this mayhem. On the way back I came across a rift. A portal. I sent the servant that Kelekdu lent me through first. Not trusting the portal. When I noticed it was my temple I went through and than .... Yes, this is when I got the stones that block teleportation from Wrin. You sure know how to ruin a story don't you.

Where was I? Oh right. I got the stones from Wrin, and than probable should of stayed in her shop. Probable one of the most safe places to be was her shop. ... Yes I did see people from another reality. You are being really argumentative today aren't you? I don't know if I can continue this story much longer with how you are being today. Hopefully when I tell the kids this part of the story, they won't be so rude.

So I went and told Gemma about the invasion to the gauntlet from the rift. She thought all the items where at the mayors office so I went there. So tempting to eat the body that I found in the river. It was so so tempting. You know how tempting fresh flesh is. I was on a mission so I talked with Center about the mayors office. Than I went into the mayors office, and made myself useful. It was early days for Undead being in Otari, I had to prove we were useful.

Yes, undead are respected in Otari these days. You are really annoying you that? Oh you do? That is good to know. So I found the mayor and we got teleported to Absalom and I became his body guard. You know what. I can't do this anymore. I am going to go find some one nicer to talk to.

Good day.

Grendin's Ghoul Story Part 34b

So where we, youngsters? Ah yes. That is right the meeting with the town. At the time I thought it went well, Though Gemma did try to insist that us Undead where less beings, Needing a treaty of some kind. Though I was a bit distracted by Kelekdu was distracting me with what I came to learn at a later time was Grolor. Grolor tried to be smart, I am still at the top of my game thief. Tons of groups of people come to this city. The Dwarfs came to this city, and built a whole settlement under the town with out getting an argreement. Only those that are lesser or weaker need to go into an argeement and treaty. I don't think that Longsaddle or me are in lesser positions.

The mayor did take several notes. Though I was glad that Nicodemus wasn't there. I hadn't told the others about the bounty, due to respect for Gemma, though that probable wouldn't have stopped Yinyasmera from trying to get the bounty. I did highly respect her talent and operation. I guess that is why I did work for her guild for a while before Joining Gemma.

Things got interesting because as you know People tend to look after there own interests. That means that people did end up being betrayed. Now I am not going to tell you how that happend just yet, that would be bad storing telling.

After the meeting I had a chat with Clang. That is how we got the most secure, and well stocked library on the whole Isle of Krotos, no the whole of Golarion. The Dawnflower might be a better known library, but ours is much better stocked. Anything the Dawnflower has in its library, even the forbidden section, you can find in our library. That wasn't an easy feat mind you, hand copying all the forbidden texts, scrolls and books.

It started small by stealing all the books from Gauntlight, that was fun doing that. Than there was the deal with the book seller. I have never been the best for long term plans, I kind of pawned off the building of the temple to Dorefon.

Now the thing about Kelekdu is why he is a great guy, you can't really hang out with him, he will cause untold chaos and yet you take the rap for it. I kind of had this idea already in the back of my mind. Grolor the fool taught me this lesson by letting Kelekdu land himself in jail with a massive bounty on his head.

Too many people fear undead. Too many people think we are just all evil. I did kind of threaten to eat Grolor so that might be why he ... well I got some things to take of We will have to continue at a latter point of time.

Grendin's Ghoul Story Part 36

Fucking stupid Dragon, thinks just because it is immortal little snot, that it is the best at having a library. That is a complete utter bul...
