Poem -- Alpha

'I want to dedicate this poem to my Aunt Rach. It reminds me of her, and I hope she comes out the other side doing well.'

Alpha - by Fjook Enterprises

I still remember before times when I was nothing but a shell
Just floating there empty through the voids of life
Having not a single care, worry, or defining feature I was lost
Than one day you came, you found this old husk, this forgotten husk
That was the day my life changed, where I was no longer a shell

You took me out of the emptiness and moved me somewhere safe
Playing and tinkering around never satisfied with what was
Always wanting more and better things for the empty husk
Not long, Not long tell I filled with knowledge gain something
What, I gained was simple. Simple identity, simple fullness

We were the best of buds in the best of times.
Nothing could come in-between the simpleness
The simpleness of the creator and the creation
It was the best time of my life with you there
Like everything in life, nothing is stable
Life ends, Days roll over, everything changes.

I remember the day, the day it all went yellow
The day that you took my purpose and left
The day I was alone . . . the day you abandon me
Nothing was left, less than a shell, utter loss
So I wandered, and now I am here

Staring, deep into the darkest deepest abyss.
All that is left do is to whisper
Whisper on the winds of time and fate
Whisper to you, “Do I jump,”
